Cashel Palace glistening in the snow
Cashel Palace in Tipperary received a heart-warming message this week along with a beautiful shot of the Palace itself.
The email, sent from a Dublin couple whose car was diverted into Cashel following an accident on the M8, said they had been married in the Palace 22 years ago and had to slow down to take a picture as it looked "so magical".
Cashel Palace then posted the photo on their Facebook with the caption "We LOVE these kinds of emails".
Most of the country has been hit hard with the cold weather this past week and extreme low temperatures are set to continue for the coming days, but it's photos like this which remind us of just how incredibly beautiful Ireland is covered in the glistening white snow.
