They revealed their list ahead of the start of the busy tourism season

The New York-based American-Irish news outlet, Irish Central, has named 'the top four places to visit in County Tipperary' ahead of the busy spring tourism season.

Their list is as follows:

  1. The Rock of Cashel
  2. St Patrick's Holy Well, Clonmel
  3. Mitchelstown Caves
  4. The Glen of Aherlow

Although these are four spectacular places, we'd argue that there's plenty more to see in the 'Premier County' and they are missing a few fantastic spots that all local tourists should have on their itinerary.

A number of commenters agreed, adding The Ormond Castle in Carrick-on-Suir, Cahir Castle, Nenagh Castle and Lough Derg to the list of must-see sites in Tipp.
