Tea and scones greeted attendees who gathered to hear details of this year’s show which takes place on Sunday, August 31.

Chairperson Jack Bourke warmly thanked everyone in the room and spoke about the dedication inside and outside the community in bringing Dualla Show to fruition each year.
Mr Bourke also thanked Cllr John O’Heney who has been working with the show committee to organise a shuttle bus that will operate between Cashel and the show field so that more people than ever can get to the event.
The bus will start running from outside Feehan’s Bar on Cashel’s Main Street at 10:30am, running hourly throughout the day.
Trudi Lalor, Billy Morrissey and Dee Morrissey entertained the hall with song and dance.
They will be accompanied by other stars of country including Brendan Shine, Mick Flavin, Effie Neill and Colin Kenny, all backed by the Matrimony Band.
This event is sponsored by Casey Tiles and Cllr Michael Brennan.
Also in attendance were Siobhan Kinane and Shona Fogarty from FBD who are sponsoring the livestock event.
This year’s Dualla Livestock Show is set to be the biggest ever with the Munster Aberdeen Angus Finals and the South East Simmental Finals both taking place.
The organisers say they are delighted to have FBD on board again as their main livestock sponsor for this year’s show.
One of the biggest attractions each year at Dualla is the tractor pulling.
The stalwarts of the Irish Tractor Pulling Committee are returning and are guaranteed to provide a fantastic display of horsepower.

As usual, the farm classes are open to everyone, so if you have a tractor and wish to enter, complete the online registration form on the Dualla Show website.
This event is sponsored by Seanie Mockler SMJ Construction, Munster Vehicle Sourcing, Fusion Solar, McCormacks Pharmacy Cahir, David O’Mahoney Electrical, Keven O’Leary Motor Group and Jim Leamy Plant Hire.
Pulling starts at 11:30am and goes all day.
A brand new event at Dualla Show this year is the Wellness Area.
With over a dozen speakers and therapists showcasing the benefits of a balanced lifestyle, this event promises a packed day full of enjoyment and learning.
Get ready to relax, recharge and reconnect.
This event is sponsored by Campion Insurance.
John Smullen of Moyglass Kennels is back again with another selection of dog classes, including Junior Handler of the Year and Best Puppy of the Year.
The winner of the new Junior Handler of the Year trophy will be chosen from the winners of the Best Boy Handler and Best Girl Handler classes (both under 14 years of age).
The Best Puppy of the Year class will look for the best puppy from across all the other classes and in particular pay attention to gait, balance and attitude, an almost impossible task given the high quality seen every year, say the organisers.
As usual there will be showjumping, sheep dog trials, vintage, trade stands, food village and a display by Tipperary Emergency Services.
And if that wasn’t enough free family entertainment, they also welcome back the superstars of Hard Knox who bring their WWE-style antics to Dualla for some entertaining family-friendly fun that’s guaranteed to bring a smile to everyone’s face.
The Dualla Show takes place on Sunday, August 31.
Gates open at 10am.
