LIVE: Emergency response to person in crisis situation on Tipperary/Waterford border

All vehicle drivers asked 'to please park with access for emergency services in mind'

A walker had fallen and injured their arm near Carey's Castle on the Tipperary/Waterford border. 

The South Eastern Mountain Rescue received a call on Sunday, August 17 just after 3:30pm to assist the National Ambulance Service.

A walker had fallen and injured their arm near Carey's Castle on the Tipperary/Waterford border.

NAS paramedics treated the injured walker on scene and they were transported out to the ambulance in the team's Land Rover.

SEMRA added: "We would ask all vehicle drivers to please park with access for emergency services in mind, you never know when access may be needed."
