Tipp man secures bronze medal at Scottish International Parkinson’s Table Tennis Open

Larkspur Park mamber Martin Heffernan was the sole Irish representative

Martin left Scotland with a bronze medal in his pocket after pairing up with a Maltese man in the doubles

Congratulations to Martin Heffernan of Larkspur Park in Cashel who won a bronze medal at the recent Scottish International Parkinson’s Table Tennis Open.

There were over 90 participants from 11 countries and Martin was the sole Irish Representative.

Martin was knocked out in the last 16 of the Class 3 singles competition but came home with a bronze medal in the Class 3 Men’s Doubles competition where he was paired with a Maltese man.

There is social table tennis every Wednesday night in Larkspur Park.
