Tipperary County Council have announced that they will close the following road from April 22 onwards: L-3279 Rathronan to Clashaniska, Clonmel.
The above road will be closed for almost four months, beginning at 00:00hrs on Tuesday 22 April 2025 until 23:59hrs on Tuesday 19 August 2025.
The council have advised motorists that the following alternative routes may be taken:

Traffic will be diverted via the R689, N24 and R688.
The reason for the closure is to facilitate the installation of two new watermains and repurposing of the existing pipeline.

Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads & Transportation, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary not later than 12 noon on Thursday 06 March 2025 or by e-mail to roadclosures@tipperarycoco.ie
