Tipperary festival ‘When Next We Meet’ nominated for an IMRO Award

Scores of music venues and festivals across Ireland have been nominated for the Irish Music Rights Organisation's Live Music Venue of the Year Awards 2025.

The awards acknowledge the vital contribution to local economies and the significant role Irish venues and festivals play in providing a public platform for songwriters, composers, and performers.

When Next We Meet, a boutique music festival set in the stunning grounds of Raheen House, Clonmel, are thrilled to be nominated for the “IMRO Small Music Festival of the Year Award.”

Kate Twohig, festival producer and co-director of When Next We Meet, says "The nomination has come as a big surprise to us all! We're so humbled to receive this recognition from IMRO and our peers. Running When Next We Meet from our hometown is something that we don't take for granted. We are very privileged to be heading towards our fourth year of the festival, with the support of our funders, partners and sponsors, especially hosts Raheen House. Our crew and volunteers are to be celebrated too - we have an incredible team and are just over the moon to share this news with everyone! It's a really special moment for us all, and for Clonmel."

When Next We Meet returns for the 2025 edition on June 7 and 8.

The much-anticipated event will feature Villagers, Pillow Queens, and Morgana, and more to be announced, marking another stellar lineup for the artist-led festival.

With a reputation for curating an exceptional selection of alternative Irish acts across a weekend celebration, When Next We Meet offers festivalgoers a high-end experience in an intimate garden setting.

Past editions showcased world-class Irish artists including Bell X1, Lisa Hannigan, Daithí, Ye Vagabonds and Soda Blonde, with 2025 promising to continue this caringly curated approach.

Capturing the magic of hidden festival gems with no need for tents or wellies, When Next We Meet offers an immersive festival experience in the stunning valley of Sliabh na mBan.

Enjoy world-class music, homegrown talent, artisanal food and drink, art and a vibrant community atmosphere, all within the picturesque setting of Raheen House.
