The huge contribution made by Mary Prenderville to Comhaltas was recognised at the Tipperary County Fleadh.
At an awards night during the Tipperary County Fleadh held in Clonmel, Mary Prenderville of the Powerstown/Lisronagh branch was given a Gradam Seirohise award by Dr Labhrás Ó Murchú, Director General of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.

Mary Prenderville is a pillar of the Powerstown/Lisronagh branch. She was first introduced to the branch when her friend Breda brought her set-dancing over 30 years ago.
For over 22 years, Mary has served as treasurer with unwavering dedication and commitment. Mary was heavily involved in the branch when the All Ireland fleadhanna came to Clonmel and greatly contributed to the success of those events.

Through her diligence and attention to detail, Mary ensured that every lesson, every event, every fleadh every gathering had the support it needed to succeed.
