A long-time supporter of Comhaltas is presented with an award at Tipperary County Fleadh

The huge contribution made by Martina Maher to Comhaltas was recognised at the Tipperary County Fleadh.

At an awards night during the Tipperary County Fleadh held in Clonmel Martina Maher of the Powerstown/Lisronagh branch was given a Gradam Seirohise award by Dr Labhrás Ó Murchú,Director General of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.

Martina has been a long-time supporter of Comhaltas and a member of Powerstown/Lisronagh CCÉ.

Martina has held the positions of Secretary, Vice-chairperson and Chairperson of the branch. When Powerstown/Lisronagh hosted the All-Ireland Fleadh again in 2003/2004 Martina helped organise the Soil Éigse while holding the joint positions of chairperson of the Fleadh committee and chairperson of the branch.
