LIVE: Road closed in Tipperary due to heavy rain and flooding as Storm Chandra hits

A road in Tipperary has closed due to flooding caused by Storm Chandra, which has brought heavy rain and strong winds to Tipperary. 

The R-665 Convent Road in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, is currently closed due to flooding.

Motorists are advised to follow the designated diversion routes via the R671 and R884 until the road is reopened.

Drivers are urged to exercise caution, reduce speed, and allow extra time for their journeys.
