The South Tipperary Stroke Communication Group will hold its monthly get together on Thursday, October 29th

The South Tipperary Stroke Communication Group will hold its monthly get-together on Thursday, October 29th, from 10.30am to 12 noon, in the bar at the Talbot Hotel, Clonmel.

As the meeting coincides with World Stroke Day, the group will mark the occasion with a special guest speaker from TASK Community Care, who will give an informative talk on personal and emergency alarms and security systems, highlighting how these services can provide reassurance, safety and greater independence for people living alone or recovering from illness.

World Stroke Day is also an important opportunity to raise awareness of stroke, recognise the challenges faced by survivors and acknowledge the vital role of family, carers and community support.

The group provides a welcoming and supportive environment where stroke survivors can meet, share experiences and enjoy friendship and companionship.
