Tipperary Roads Policing Unit carrying out patrols on Friday evening in a newly equipped vehicle intercepted a car for no insurance in Thurles.
The vehicle was driving on a cancelled policy - detected through Automatic Number Plate Recognition technology - with "illegal tinting".
The vehicle was seized and court to follow.
