The drug test returned a positive indication for cocaine and the pregnant driver was arrested and processed at Nenagh Garda Station.
Gardaí were conducting a Mandatory Intoxicant Checkpoint recently in north Tipperary when they noticed a vehicle trying to evade the checkpoint.

Gardaí attached to Killaloe Garda Station went and spoke to the female driver.
In a statement, gardaí said: "Thanks to the garda mobility device, it was discovered that the driver was uninsured.
"The driver was tested at the road side for alcohol and drugs.

"The drug test returned a positive indication for cocaine and the pregnant driver was arrested and processed at Nenagh Garda Station.
"The results of the blood sample are awaited.
"The car was also seized."
