Mourners have left messages of sympathy online:
"My deepest sympathies to Eddie, Mary, Therese, Ellen and the extended family. It was a pleasure to have known Phyllis, she was a true lady who would brighten anyone’s day with her humorous nature and zest for life. A highlight of my trip home to Nenagh was to pop into Phyllis for a laugh and a cup of tea. Thinking of you all at this time."
"Our deepest condolences to Ellen, Mary, Eddie and Therese on the passing of your beloved mother. Condolences too to the extended Guerin and Mangan families especially to her grandchildren. Phyllis was a true lady full of goodness and kindness...it was always a pleasure to meet her."
"I am so sorry to hear this. Mrs Guerin was a really wonderful woman, so kind and she had great time and knowledge for all her customers. Always a smile and endless patience."
"Phyllis was a woman of quiet depth. In the pharmacy, she served her community with care and good judgement. She wasn’t one for fuss, but she was steady, reliable, and full of sense. That kind of presence is rare, and hard to lose."
