Planning granted for new electric vehicle charging stations in busy Tipperary retail park

Poppyfield Retail Park in Clonmel has been granted permission to install the new charging stations.

A retail park in Tipperary has been granted permission to install new electric vehicle charging stations on the premises.

Tipperary County Council recently granted Poppyfield Retail Park on Cahir Road, Clonmel, permission to install four electrical vehicle charging stations on the premises. 

The charging bays will replace ten parking spots in the current car park, creating eight electrical vehicle charging bays.

It has also been proposed to erect an ancillary building to house an ESB substation to service the proposed development in Clonmel.
