Cathal Ryan, who is an actor from Thurles, has announced a second tour of his one man show 'PUCKED'.

In 2022 the show was performed in both Clonmel and Thurles before it then went to Limerick and Waterford.

The show was directed by Clonmel director Jack Reardon and it completely sold out each night in both the Clonmel Junction Festival and The Source Arts Centre.

It definitely created a bit of a stir in both towns with waiting lists being created for the shows also.

Ryan said about the show: "PUCKED is a brash, fast paced, multi-rolling one man show that deals with the highs and lows of the greatest sport on earth, hurling. Through the lens of both celebrating and challenging the GAA the play looks at themes such as self confidence, individualism, toxic masculinity and the limitations of growing up in rural Ireland.

"Over 90 mins I play 27 characters that are hilariously relatable leading to a great night out while also tackling issues that aren't covered enough in theatre.

"We are delighted to say that PUCKED is finally coming back in FEB 25. We will be starting with a week in Thurles before touring to 8 other venues across the country. Cork, Galway, Kilkenny, Waterford, Clare, Limerick, Longford and Dublin are all on the list."
