Get aninsight into the Camino journey at new book launch

The Cahir Social and Historical Society is delighted to host the launch of ‘The Camino de Santiago: How, Why and the Inner Journey’ a book by Pat Holland.

The date is next Thursday, March 12, 2026, the venue is Cahir House Hotel and the time is 7:30pm.

Join us for an inspiring evening as Pat shares insights from his journey along the Camino, exploring not only the physical pilgrimage but the deeper personal and spiritual experience behind it. Admission is free.

All are welcome to attend this special event celebrating travel, reflection, and the power of the inner journey.

Last week the Society’s third lecture of this year’s series was delivered by Paul Buckley, a well-known local historian whose lecture was titled ‘Cahir Men and Women Who Served in World War 2’. There was also a contribution from local lady Lauren Murphy.

As has become the norm, the hall was full and the largest crowd yet attended the lecture in Cahir House Hotel.
