New Macra na Feirme club, Mac Donagh Macra, launched in September

Members of the newly formed Mac Donagh Macra celebrate after the club is formed. They will hold their first event, a Quiz Night on 16th November in The Glue Pot Ballingarry. All are welcome to attend.

After a successful launch night last month in Cloughjordan and a fantastic meeting in Ballingarry, MacDonagh Macra was formed. Called after the late Thomas Mac Donagh, the club will attract members from a number of parishes in North Tipperary.
The first meeting in the Glue Pot Ballingarry saw over 30 people interested to find out more about Macra and looking forward to taking part in a number of activities and events that Macra has to offer.
There is something for everyone in Macra. If you are interested in sport, agriculture, debating, performing arts, and travel or if you just want an outlet to meet new people in your area, Macra has it all! With a full calendar of events scheduled, there will always be something exciting to go to.
Mac Donagh Macra looks forward to a number of activities over the coming weeks: Soccer, gaelic football, beef and sheep stockjudging, attending The National Rally and Queen of the Land. We are also delighted to host our first event: Quiz night on 16th November in The Glue Pot Ballingarry.
All Mac Donagh Macra meetings will rotate around the 4 following parishes; Cloughjordan, Ballingarry, Borrisokane and Toomevara.
