2. Robert Doyle Rating: 8/10 Had early struggles on the elusive Jack O'Connor but as the game went on, he had the Sarsfields man under wraps, competing very well. He is growing with every passing game and given Tipp have struggled to fill the corner back slot in recent years, it is a massive positive. One mark against him is that he has been booked in every game he's played thus far, so he needs to be mindful of his tackling.

3. Eoghan Connolly Rating: 7/10 Dominated the full back line during Robbie Cotter's time on him, Connolly had a bigger challenge when Patrick Horgan was introduced early in the second half. Horgan popped a few points but Connolly was tight to him throughout and quietened him thereafter. Continues to impress in the defensive stakes.

7. Michael Breen Rating: 8/10 Picked up Brian Hayes in this game and had another fine performance to add to his growing list in 2025. He is Tipperary's go-to man marker and with Hayes only grabbing a goal - that was put on a plate for him - Breen dominated the battle.

5. Joe Caesar Rating: 7/10 As astute a debut as you could ask for from the Holycross Ballycahill player. He looked confident and assured in possession and the amount of play he was involved in - particularly in the first half - went largely unnoticed.
