6. Ronan Maher Rating: 7/10 Had early troubles with Shane Barrett in the first half that had him in trouble on several occasions, but he was at his dominant best in the second half. The amount of times he came out of the half-back line with possession was ridiculous, and though he tired late on, he can be happy with his current form.

4. Bryan O'Mara Rating: 7/10 His best game of the campaign, O'Mara's form is slowly beginning to trend toward where his potential lies. His deliveries in the first half were of a high, high standard and his forays up the field in recent games look like being a weapon for Tipperary going forward. Hopefully, this upward trajectory will continue.

8. Craig Morgan Rating: 8/10 The Kilruane MacDonaghs man bounced back in emphatic fashion after a poor outing against Limerick in round 3. He was a constant on possession and his deliveries into the forwards were class, linking up with Darragh McCarthy several times in particular. His running potential was clearly evident again and that was highlighted by the second-half goal for Dylan Walsh.

9. Willie Connors Rating: 6/10 His influence has been curbed somewhat in recent weeks in comparison to the first two rounds but there is no denying his workrate around the middle. Himself and Morgan have taken turns in impressing at midfield so if they could come together in the remaining league games and bring a dual consistency, it would nail down a problem area for Tipp.
