As the designated man marker of the defence, Breen picked up TJ Reid from the throw-in and it went very well for the Ballina man.
Not too many defenders can say they kept Reid scoreless from play after 70 minutes of hurling and it shows the form Breen is in this year.
He has stepped up big time in terms of leadership through performance alone and that will please management no end.
