Tipperary Camogie pays a fine tribute to Aoife Shelley who was a key member of so many teams

May she rest in peace.

Tippreary Camogie paid tribute to the late Aoife Shelly who passed away recently and will be greatly missed. Aoife was a keen sports star and made a huge contribution to sport in Tipperary. 

A statement released tonight by Tipperary Camogie read as follows: "All in Tipperary Camogie were devastated to hear the heart-breaking news of the untimely and tragic passing of Aoife Shelly.

"We extend our deepest sympathies to Aoife’s heartbroken parents, Claire and Joe, her brother Eoghan, the extended Shelly and Hassett families and her teammates and friends in Templemore Camogie Club and Moyne Templetuohy Ladies Football Club, and the wider GAA communities.

"Our thoughts are with all those who knew and loved Aoife at this devastating time.

"May Aoife’s gentle soul rest in peace."
