Tipperary's Brian Gleeson continues to star on the international stage as he put in another excellent performance in the green of Ireland as the U20 rugby team took down Australia in the World Cup this morning.
Gleeson starred in a 30-10 victory over the junior Wallabies, putting on an exhibition of ball carrying, and also capped his display with a vital try early in the second half with the game at 11-10.
The bonus point win now puts Ireland in a commanding position to top the group and claim a semi-final spot, but they will need to account for Fiji in their final group game next Tuesday to ensure progress.
Afterward, the Virgin Media Sports pundits lavished praise on the Loughmore Castleiney club man and earmarked him for a bright future in the red of Munster. See the reaction below.
