Players to watch in this year's club hurling championship who could make Tipp step up

4. Cathal Bourke (Clonoulty Rossmore)

Another man from the West which will be worth keeping tabs on. His hurling has been curtailed largely since coming from the Tipperary underage ranks, with numerous knee injuries stopping his progress.

His form has started well in 2023 though, and he has been knocking over big totals as he has assumed free taking duties ahead of Jack Ryan for this season.

If his fitness and conditioning could get to the same level as he was at before a few extended spells on the sideline, his hurling ability would be unquestioned, as he is a very assured striker of the ball and finisher.
