Well done to Templemore Lions club who held a very successful art exhibition in the Templemore Arms on Sunday afternoon last.

Despite clashing with a number of other events the exhibition and sale was well supported with many buyers on hand to purchase the excellent paintings on display.

The club would like to pay a special thanks to all those who donated items and we are extremely grateful for your generosity.

To all those who supported the event on the day and purchased paintings we say a thousand thanks.

We were privileged on the day to have Irish Rugby star Brian Gleeson officially open the auction and all those present were delighted to chat with Brian and have their photo taken.

All funds raised will be divided between the Hospice, Pieta House and Barnardos.

The Lions club would also like to thank Dan and all the staff at the Arms for their help and assistance.
