Sharlene Mawdsley sizzles in 'paradise'

Tipperary Olympic qualifier Sharlene Mawdsley of Newport has posted a steamy picture on a beach in "paradise".

The snap from Paradise Islands  - captioned with "Officially arrived in paradise" - came just days before Sharlene and her teammates qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics at Thomas A Robinson National Stadium in Nassau, Bahamas.

The Ireland women's 4x400m relay team of Phil Healy, Sophie Becker, Rhasidat Adeleke and Tipperary's Sharlene won heat 3 of the women's 4x400m relays in a national record of 3:24.38 to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games during day one of the World Athletics Relays.

But that's not all for the Newport athlete, Sharlene is also celebrating after winning heat 3 of mixed 4x400m relay with a national record of 3:12.50 to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
