Tipperary woman to run Dublin City Marathon to fundraise for Down Syndrome Tipperary branch

Tipperary woman Aine Keating will be running the Dublin City Marathon on October 27th
Tipperary woman Aine Keating will be running the Dublin City Marathon on October 27th to raise funds for the Tipperary Branch of Down Syndrome Ireland.
This will be Aine's second marathon and it is a charity close to her heart as her niece, Sarah Kenny, is one of the many young adults and children who avail of the essential services that the branch provides in Tipperary.
This voluntary organisation is run solely on fundraising as it does not receive any Government funding.
There are a lot of services required by its service users that the funds raised will go towards like speech & language therapy, occupational therapy, educational tutoring, cookery, music, programmes including readiness for the work place but also socialisation, building confidence and independence skills and so much more to allow members to reach their full potential, whatever that may be.
Aine commented on the importance of raising these vital funds for the branch: "By donating to my go fund me page you can help fund these essential services and make a difference to their lives, give them the opportunity that we all take for granted. Hit on the link and make a difference today. All donations, not matter how big or small, are most appreciated and welcomed."
