Local Tipperary village announces date for Halloween-themed market

"Pumpkin Fest" will take place at the Holycross Village Market on Saturday October 26 from 12pm to 3pm in St Michael's Community Centre.

A day of family fun day is in store, say the organisers, so children can get their costumes on to join for Trick & Treat, or enter the big prize competitions by bringing along a carved pumpkin.

Recycled bits and bobs can be used to enter the Scarecrow Competition by making a scarecrow for display in the village.

There will be an opportunity to create your own flower arrangement with Oliva's workshop for Breast Cancer.

Admission to the event is free.

To enter the competitions or register for the workshop, contact 089 410 9309 on WhatsApp, or email thevillagemarketholycross@gmail.com.
