Mid-Tipp Hillwalkers undertook a walk recently along the Castlebar Greenway to raise funds for Thurles Meals on Wheels and Jigsaw.
Fundraising activities based around two walking weekends have raised almost €12,000 for charity this year.
These funds will be distributed to the charities at an event in the new year.
