'I did a thing' - Tipperary's Sharlene Mawdsley reveals new ink on social media

Tipperary athlete Sharlene Mawdsley has revealed a new tattoo commemorating her experience in the 2024 Olympics as part of Team Ireland.

The 26-year-old Irish Olympian, who is currently in Cape Town with her teammates updated her followers of her visit to the Folk Tattoo Observatory during a rest day.

Mawdsley, from Newport in Tipperary, competed in several races at the Olympics last year, including the women's 4x400m relay race, which saw Ireland claim an incredible fourth place.

The Olympian shared a reel on Instagram with the caption "Did a thing" to her followers revealing her latest tattoo, the Olympic rings on her left forearm.
