Council proposes four month closure of county Tipperary road due to water mains project

Tipperary County Council has given notice that it proposes to temporarily close the L3279 Rathronan to Clashaniska Road near Clonmel for four months between midnight on Tuesday, April 22 and Tuesday night, August 19 to facilitate the laying of two new water mains and repurposing of the existing pipeline. 

The Council proposes diverting traffic via the R689, N24 and R688. 

Any objections to the proposed temporary road closure should be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads & Transportation Section, Tipperary County Council Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh not later than 12 noon on March 6 or by email to: roadclosures@tipperarycoco.ie
