The M7 motorway
Tipperary County Council has given notice of its intention to temporarily close a junction of the M7 motorway in the north of the county at night for most of next month to facilitate pavement works.
Tipperary County Council has made an order to temporarily close the M7 Westbound off-slip and on-slip at Junction 23 Moneygall nightly from 7pm on Monday, September 8 to 6am on Saturday, October 4 except for the week of September 14 to 20 due to the National Ploughing Championship.
The alternative routes are:
1) Westbound Off-Slip Closure Advance Diversion: J22, N62, R445
2) Westbound Off-Slip Closure Secondary Diversion: J24, R445
3) Westbound On-Slip Closure (R445 Northbound Approach): M7 East, J22, M7 West
4) Westbound On-Slip Closure (R445 Southbound Approach): R445, J24, M7 West
The closure is to facilitate pavement works at the M7 J23 Roundabout with the R445 at the entrance to Barack Obama Plaza.
