The M8 motorway at Cahir
Tipperary County Council is proposing night-time closures of Junctions 10 and 11 of the M8 motorway at Cahir to facilitate bridge expansion works.
The Council has given notice of its intention to close the M8 Junction 11 Northbound (Dublin direction) from 7pm on Monday, September 29 to 6am on Tuesday, September 30. It also proposes closing the M8 Junction 10 Southbound (Cork direction) from 7pm on Wednesday, October 1 to 6am on Thursday, October 2.

The traffic diversion will be via the R639
Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads & Transportation, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary not later than 12 noon on September 4 or by e-mail to roadclosures@tipperarycoco.ie
