Funeral arrangements for Tipperary man killed in traffic accident are announced

The late Monty (Martin) Power. May he rest in peace

The funeral Mass for the late Monty (Martin) Power, who died tragically in a traffic accident in Cahir, will take place in Boherlahan this Thursday at 11am.  

The father-of-three from Gaile, Thurles died when the motorcycle he was driving was involved in a collision with a van on the N24 at Cahir shortly after 11am on Sunday. 

Mr Power is deeply missed by his heartbroken wife Kathleen, daughters Linda, Helena and son Martin, as well as his son-in-law Declan and Martin's partner Tina.

He is also survived by his grandchildren Dean, Kirstin, Dylan, Ronan and Lucas, brother Seamus and his wife Marie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours, many friends, work colleagues at Lyons Tyre Services in Thurles and his many motorbike friends along with his faithful friend Holly.

Mr Power's remains will repose at his home at E41 HY 91 this Wednesday from 4 pm to 7 pm. 

The funeral cortege will arrive at the Church of Immaculate Conception, Boherlahan on Thursday at 11 am for the Funeral Mass at 11.30 am. The ceremony will be followed by burial in Ardmayle Cemetery.
