Cashel’s Le Chéile group has installed a Christmas tree on the Town Plaza and is inviting residents to participate in a communal decorating event this Sunday.
Councillor Liam Browne, who shared the initiative on social media, described it as an opportunity for the town to come together in a moment of warmth and remembrance.

Between 3.00pm and 4.00pm, members of the community are encouraged to bring a bauble, ribbon, or small decoration to hang on the tree.

Contributions may be made in honour of loved ones, those who are unwell, those who have passed, or friends and family far from home this Christmas.
Councillor Browne said the event allows people to make the tree their own and hopes it will be filled with love, light, and a sense of community spirit. Everyone is welcome to take part.
The event will take place at the Town Plaza on Sunday 14th December from 3.00pm to 4.00pm.
