Gardaí are investigating an assault that occurred in Thurles, Co Tipperary on Wednesday 28 January 2026.
According to a statement from Gardaí, the incident was reported to have taken place at approximately 12.30pm.
The circumstances surrounding the altercation are not yet fully clear, but it is understood that a man in his 40s sustained injuries during the confrontation.
The man in his 40s received medical treatment for his injuries following the incident.
Gardaí have confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
