Tipperary County Council were winners on the night in the Age Friendly Community Innovation Award category announced recently.

This was awarded for the Tipperary Age Friendly EXPO Event for Older Adults which was held in Thurles in June 2022. The event showcased a range of services and support available for positive ageing in county Tipperary.

Up to 400 participants enjoyed a range of services provided from transport to the event to a range of information talks, 60 information stands, lunch, music and social dancing.
