I DO! Tipperary groom in suit dashes to vote in Local Elections before wedding
One Tipperary man took his right to vote very seriously on Friday morning as he headed to his local polling station already suited and booted for his big day.
Mark Buckley got dressed in the suit early, shoes polished, bow tie on, the works, but made sure to cast his vote first before dashing to the church.
Mark was joined by pals Michael Fitzgerald and Sinn Féin councillor Tony Black, on the trip to the polling station. Mark is marrying Mary Ellen Breen today.
Tony posted a picture to Facebook on Friday. He said: "Mark Buckley, myself and Michael Fitzgerald had to vote before Mark ties the knot today.

"Huge congratulations to himself and Mary Ellen Breen. Hopefully, it’s the beginning of a brilliant weekend. I hope they remembered where to put the Number 1," he joked.
The Local and European Elections take place on Friday with polling stations open until 10pm.
