Senior Hurling - Group 1
Drom & Inch are one of the few teams to have wrapped up top spot and qualification from the group with a game to spare, along with their opponents JK Brackens, who go the opposite direction as they are guaranteed to be in relegation action.
Second place comes down to a straight shootout between Mullinahone and Nenagh Éire Óg with the winner clinching second place. A draw would result in Nenagh qualifying by virtue of better scoring difference.
Group 2
Top spot is up for grabs in Group 2 with Toomevara and Roscrea going head-to-head for the honour. Toome have already qualified for the last eight, but will need a win or draw to clinch top spot, while a Roscrea win would see the Reds clinch top spot.
Moycarkey Borris will need a Toomevara win and will hope the scoring difference of six points is swung in their favour should they account for Kilruane MacDonaghs.
However, should Kilruane MacDonaghs win against Moycarkey Borris they would be safe from relegation with the mid men instead finishing bottom.
Group 3
Loughmore Castleiney can confirm top spot with either a win or a draw in their final game against Upperchurch Drombane, with the Church needing a win along with help from elsewhere from Templederry Kenyons in their game over Holycross Ballycahill.
Templederry have a huge outside chance of progression but would need a big win over the mid-men due to their -13 score difference, along with hoping for Loughmore Castleiney to do the business in their game.
Three teams could still end up in relegation or qualify for the quarter-finals depending on the results.
Group 4
The group of death lives up to its billing going into round three, with all four teams still in the running to qualify for the quarter-finals.
Borris-Ileigh currently top the group on three points, and will know that a win or draw against Thurles Sarsfields will see them safely through.
Kiladangan and Sarsfields are both on two points, but the Thurles men are handicapped by their negative score difference of -6, and need a win to clinch qualification.
Kiladangan are in reasonable shape in second, while Clonoulty are most in need of a win as they sit bottom on one point. The only thing which is certain here is that Borris-Ileigh cannot finish bottom.
