Premier Intermediate - Group 1

Cashel King Cormacs sit atop Group 1 with two wins and are in poll position to top the group. St Marys are second by virtue of head-to-head over Ballina, and the lakesiders will need Moyne Templetuohy to do them a favour against the Clonmel side, along with a win over Cashel to finish second and qualify.

Moyne Templetuohy still have a mathematical chance of qualifying but due to their poor score difference, it is an unlikely scenario.

Group 2

Two games with plenty to play for in this group. Like the group of death in the senior championship, all four teams can still qualify for the quarter-finals.

Swans sit top on three points and will clinch top spot with a win over Éire Óg who are on two points along with Thurles Sarsfields.

Sean Treacys will need to win against Sarsfields and hope Carrick Swans can win their game, and that will see the Kilcommon men qualify second.

Group 3

This group is far more clear-cut in terms of the possible outcomes. Burgess sit top with two wins and a +14 scoring difference, while Clonakenny are second on three points with a +11 scoring difference.

Newport would need to beat Silvermines by a huge margin - as they sit on a -12 score difference, and would need Burgess to offset the scoring with a big win over Clonakenny.

Essentially, it looks like the loser of Newport and Silvermines will be in relegation, as Burgess and Clonakenny battle it out for the top spot in their clash.

Group 4

Lorrha have qualified with a game to spare, but will still need a win to finish top of the group, as they currently sit on four points ahead of their final game against Portroe, who are confirmed for the relegation dogfight.

Killenaule and Gortnahoe Glengoole will battle to see who follows Lorrha into the quarter-finals. With both teams on two points, it is a winner takes all game, although a draw will be enough for Killenaule to progress due to their far superior scoring difference.
