Intermediate Championship
The Boherlahan Dualla and Newport Ballinahinch game was postponed on Sunday morning while Shannon Rovers recorded a huge victory over a depleted Kilruane MacDonaghs side in the afternoon to leave Shannon Rovers with three wins from three and sitting on top of the table at present.
In the only other game in the Intermediate Championship Toomevara started more brightly then Moneygall and went 0-6 points to 0-2. However, Rachel Donovan scored an important goal for Moneygall on the stroke of halftime to leave just one between the sides. Moneygall’s ability to score more goals proved crucial and they added two more in the second half from Niamh Larkin to secure a narrow two-point win 3-4 to 0-11.
