MTU Cork earned an Electric Ireland Fitzgibbon Cup quarter-final place as three late points earned them a draw at home to DCU Dóchas Éireann on Wednesday night.
The Cork college now goes through on score difference after losing to SETU Waterford last week by two points, while DCU were defeated by SETU Waterford by eight points in this Group C.
The sole Tipperary player on the day in this game was Barry Kehoe (Kilsheelan Kilcash) who bagged a well taken early goal in the game which proved to be a crucial score come full time.
