Thurles student goes through to the final of national enterprise competition

Eoin Tarpey

Congratulations to first-year student Eoin Tarpey, who under the mentoring of his Business teacher Ms Elaine Molumby, has qualified for the SEP (Student Enterprise Programme) My Entrepreneurial Journey Competition 23/24.

This competition is based on a student imagining his/her life as an entrepreneur at a future stage in their life and tell their story of how they became an entrepreneur, highlighting what they learned along the way and the realities of setting up and running a business.

A number of stages were undertaken to enter the competition that involved writing an account of their entrepreneurial life story, designing an A3 poster, Interviewing a local entrepreneur in the community and completing a reflection.

We wish Eoin all the best as he represents Coláiste Mhuire in the upcoming National Final to be held on May 9 at the Mullingar Park Hotel.

Go néirí go geal leat, Eoin!
