Three goals in the final quarter of the first half were the death knell for Tipperary but you couldn’t be critical of Hogan for either goal.
He went long quite often in response to Cork pressuring the Tipp puckout and with a stiff enough wind to hold up the deliveries - coupled with a half-forward line and midfield malfunction - there was little for Hogan could do to stop the possession loss.
