The melee saw Shane Barrett of Cork and Tipperary's Jason Forde sent off, and Alan Connolly and Willie Connors booked, towards the end of the half.

The fines were recommended by the Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) to the counties for “disruptive conduct by players”.

As a result, Jason Forde is suspended for Tipperary's round 4 clash with Limerick in FBD Semple Stadium on Saturday, while Cork's Shane Barrett has been slapped with a two game ban.
