A GoFundMe fundraising campaign has been set up in recent days in support of Nenagh mother Lorraine Cummins, who unfortunately suffered a stroke/brain bleed whilst on holiday in Tenerife in the last week. She has been in a coma in hospital in Tenerife since the incident.

Lorraine is the mother of three boys who have flown out to be by her side during her hospital stay and her hopeful recovery.

Lorraine's friend Lisa has set up a GoFundMe page to support Lorraine and her family as they go through what will be a lengthy recuperation away from home.

On the fundraiser page, Lisa writes: "When Lorraine wakes up they will know the outcome of this awful situation. This money will be used for Lorraine and her family only. Please help if you can no amount is too little."
