BREAKING: €5,000 reward offered following incident in Tipperary

Private Therapy Clinic Ltd - which has an office in Tipperary - is offering a €5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the recent vandalism of its Nenagh premises on Martyrs Road.

The incident took place between 11pm on Wednesday, May 8 and 12:30am on Thursday, May 9, 2025, resulting in an estimated €20,000 in damage, including smashed windows, water damage, and destruction of clinic property.

This targeted attack occurred just as the clinic was about to begin delivering vital mental health services to the local community.

In a statement, Private Therapy Clinic Ltd said: "Exactly one week prior to the vandalism, CCTV footage showed two individuals walking past Sheehan’s on Martyrs Road in the direction of the clinic (opposite Lidl).

"Around 11:00pm, they were not wearing gloves. On their return around midnight, they were — raising concern about their intentions.

"These individuals may be linked to the later incident. The clinic is now urgently appealing for additional CCTV or dashcam footage from the night of 8th–9th May to help identify:

"Where these individuals may have come from (e.g. any of Nenagh’s main streets); their movements after the incident; any vehicles they may have used.

"We are asking for help from: local businesses with CCTV in the vicinity; residents with overnight dashcam recordings; anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in central Nenagh during that time.

The statement added: "Tragically, the Nenagh branch is now at serious risk of permanent closure. If the clinic is left to cover the repair costs alone, it may no longer be able to offer affordable neurodiversity assessments and private psychiatric services, which are critically needed in this region."

Private Therapy Clinic’s locations in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Donegal, and online will remain operational.

Garda Investigation & €5,000 Reward – Terms & Conditions

The €5,000 reward will be paid to the first individual whose evidence directly leads to:

The identification and arrest, and

A successful criminal conviction of the person(s) responsible.

The reward is conditional upon:

Full cooperation with An Garda Síochána;

Garda confirmation that the evidence was crucial to securing conviction;

The information not being previously known to authorities.

If multiple individuals provide equally vital information, the reward may be split at the discretion of Private Therapy Clinic Ltd.

Offer valid until December 31, 2025, unless withdrawn earlier in writing.
