Funeral Mass took place on Thursday at St Mary of the Rosary Church followed by burial in Lisboney Cemetery.
Tipperary North TD, Alan Kelly said: "I was very upset to hear of the passing of Mikey Shoer last weekend.

"Mikey was a very decent fella whose company I used to enjoy when we’d meet while out and about. He had an infectious laugh that would put you in good humour.

Only just heard this very sad news. Went to school with Mikey, played football against him early days and in contact with him recently through work. Gutted, he was one of the nicest fellas I ever had the pleasure to know. Sincere Condolences to all his family and friends, the world is a worse place without him. Rest in Peace Mikey.
