Knockanacree woods is a 5k Park Run near Cloughjordan, County Tipperary
BBC Countryfile has revealed its list of the top ten toughest Park Runs in the world and the only Irish trail to make the cut is our local Knockanacree Woods just outside of Cloughjordan here in Tipperary.
In the article, BBC writes "If you enjoy trail running, you'll love this forest 5k in County Tipperary, Ireland. It's an undulating course on narrow, wooded trails that can get wet and muddy. Post storms the event can be cancelled because of downed branches and debris."
For those eager to test their metal on one of the world's toughest Park Runs, Knockanacree Woods is back open to the public this Saturday 8 March with fallen trees and debris from Storm Éowyn finally cleared.
