Special Shane MacGown night from 'two people who knew him the best'
A special night is to be held in Nenagh Arts Centre in November
Victoria Mary Clarke and Siobhan MacGowan are coming to Nenagh Arts Centre on November 28th , for an “epic night, as we hear all about Shane from the two people who knew him the best”.
The night comes about two weeks after the release of a hotly anticipated upcoming album of covers of the songs of Shane MacGowan, ‘20th Century Paddy’.
The album is a “sonic love letter” to a catalogue of the late Tipperary man’s storytelling and songwriting, featuring fellow artists and musicians Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Depp, Kate Moss, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and The Libertines.
Shane MacGowan passed away almost three years ago, on November 30 2023.
Tickets for the special evening with Victoria Mary Clarke and Siobhan MacGowan via the Nenagh Arts Centre website.
